Submission Rules

  • Oral and poster presentations will be accepted to the congress.

  • Oral presentations with Daily Registration can make their presentations online.

  • Poster submissions sent by "Students" will be accepted.

  • You can send your papers online from the congress website.

  • Submissions sent by e-mail, fax and other will not be accepted.

  • The deadline for submitting an abstract is October 20, 2023.

  • All correspondence regarding all the information entered into the system will be made with the person whose notifications are entered into the system.

  • Whether the papers are accepted or not will be published on the congress website on October 27, 2023 at the latest.

  • All accepted papers will be published as "Proceedings Book".

  • Papers that do not comply with the writing rules during the submission of the paper will not be evaluated.

  • The author who will present the paper must have registered for the congress until October 20, 2023. In the absence of a record of the author who will present the paper, it will not be possible to be included in the congress book and presented even if the paper is accepted.

Abstract Writing Rules

  • The abstract should not exceed 500 words. 

  • The paper should be written in accordance with the online notification system, without any pictures.

  • The abstract should include the title of the paper, the author(s), name and surname(s), affiliated institution and e-mail addresses.

  • In a paper with more than one author, the author who will present the paper should be specified.

Presentation Rules

  • Presentation language can be either Turkish or English.

  • Duration of presentations should be limited to a maximum of 10 minutes.

  • Presentations will be prepared as "PowerPoint Presentation" and the presenter is going to be informed about uploading process. Presenters should be ready on the online platform to participate in the discussion section at the time of relevant session.

  • The date of the presentations will be announced together with the congress program in the forthcoming days.

Prof. Dr. Necati Akgün Young Researcher Award

  • Prof. Dr. Necati Akgün Young Researcher Award is given to encourage young scientists to present their research in the best possible way.

  • This award is dedicated to our esteemed professor, Professor Doctor Necati Akgün, who led the establishment of the Turkish Sports Medicine Association and the institutionalization of sports medicine in our country.

  • A monetary award of 5000 TL and a certificate will be given for the Best Oral Presentation.

  • The "Clinical Sports Medicine" book will be awarded for the Best Poster Presentation.

  • Being 40 years old or younger is required to apply for the award.

  • Prof. Dr. Necati Akgün Young Researcher Award Committee will conduct the evaluation process.

  • The certificate and award will be presented during the Congress Closing Ceremony.
